Many of today's modern vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These include Lane Departure Warning System, Lane Keep Assist, Auto Emergency Breaking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto Pilot, and others.
Often times these important safety systems use a camera mounted to the windshield to view and monitor the lanes while driving. Because this camera system is removed and replaced during the windshield replacement process, it is necessary to re-calibrate or re-aim the system after the replacement.
